Hello for the first time!

Ok then, this is my first "blog." My intention for this blog is to be much less writing and more postings of pictures I've drawn, accompanied by a brief description.

So hi everyone! Here's what's going on with me.

The world is such a big and intimidating place, I don't know yet how I will fully fit in. But that is what this blog is about, deciding if drawing is something I should and could do for a living.

I've never liked the idea of working to build a skill. It started when I first started dreaming about what I would do with my life, but I never took into account the time it would take to get where I wanted to be. Imagine my disappointment when I was told I couldn't do what I wanted to do because I didn't have the skill.

Unfortunately, my brain understood that as I couldn't get those skills, and that I just couldn't do what I wanted.

I began to dislike school. I received poor grades from middle school through college. It was very simple: the classes that were easy, like art, I did well in. The classes that required hard work and concentration, like math, I did poorly in. I've now discovered that I might have a learning disability, and that I might also have inattentive ADD. That explains a bit.

What I do know is that throughout my life, I've always loved drawing. Even the building up the skills to get better is something I enjoyed. I used to get up in the middle of the night when I was 15 to draw something that popped up in my dream, and I'd spend a good two hours not sleeping to make it look perfect.

My plan is to post a drawing every week. I think it will be mondays or tuesdays... First, I must have a scanner. Then, I will announce the date of my first artistic post.
